Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled, articulate, and poised IT Specialist to join our technical support team. In this role, you will do much more than troubleshoot hardware and software issues; you will serve as the primary technology partner for our executive leadership team and key external stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of deep technical expertise and exceptional executive presence . You must be comfortable navigating high-pressure situations with calm, confidence, and absolute discretion, translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable business solutions for non-technical leaders. Key Responsibilities Executive & Stakeholder Support White-Glove Technical Support: Provide dedicated, high-touch technical assistance to C-suite executives, board members, and high-level stakeholders, ensuring minimal downtime for leadership. High-Stakes Meeting Readiness: Oversee technical setup, testing, and live support for critical executive meetings, board presentations, and high-profile hybrid/virtual events. Relationship Management: Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership, proactively identifying technology friction points and recommending productivity-enhancing solutions. Core Technical Operations Tier 1-3 Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. Systems & Access Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups within enterprise environments (e.g., Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Okta, Google Workspace). Deployment & Maintenance: Provision, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripheral equipment. Ensure all executive devices are kept up to date with patch management and security protocols. Incident Documentation: Maintain thorough records of IT issues, assets, and resolutions within our ticketing system, identifying recurring trends to improve overall IT efficiency. Required Qualifications & Skills Professional Presence & Communication Executive Presence: Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leadership with high emotional intelligence, confidence, and a polished, professional demeanor. Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to explain technical concepts simply and clearly to high-level stakeholders. Discretion & Integrity: Absolute commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive corporate data with the utmost discretion. Composure Under Pressure: A track record of staying calm, focused, and resourceful during critical system outages or time-sensitive executive requests. Technical Requirements Experience: 3+ years of IT help desk or technical support experience, with at least 1 year specifically dedicated to supporting executive or VIP users. Enterprise Tools: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 , enterprise video conferencing platforms (Zoom Rooms, Webex), and MDM tools (Intune, Jamf). Networking Basics: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and troubleshooting corporate Wi-Fi/remote connectivity issues. Education/Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
