If you think the above described you and you’re looking to work for a business that is high growth and developing cutting edge renewable energy products then please read on…..The responsibilities of a Production Supervisor are as follows:To operate all production equipment/machinery to a stellar Health & Safety standard, in accordance with company expectations and legislationEnsure all quality standards are met through the production lineConduct all performance reviews and probationary reviewsMonitor work performance from the team and ensure that all PPE is adhered to day to dayTo adhere to safety and quality standards/specifications, in line with specified instructions and processesDevelop training programmes in line with progression opportunities, both internally, and externallyProvide guidance and support to the teamEnsure handover and set up is completed at the start and end of shift, including compiling end of shift reportsEnsuring that the workspace is clear from obstruction, and always kept tidy and clean – to prevent any potential safety hazardsReporting any safety hazards in a timely manner, to the Operations ManagerTo complete all relevant paperwork – in line with company legislationYou may be asked occasionally to complete other tasks around the site, as directed by the Production SupervisorTo fulfil these responsibilities as a Production Supervisor you will have the following skills/experience:Come from a strong manufacturing background, having worked within a fast-paced production lineKnowledge of and previous experience in a Supervisory role, with responsibilities of managing a teamKnowledge of and previous experience of working within a safety critical environmentProven, strong leadership skills, with the ability to raise morale when neededFantastic communication, attention to detail, and time management skillsStrong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and within a teamProven self – starter, with genuine ambition to progress professionally and personallyAdditional Desirable Skills:Experience within the chemical processing sector (either handling chemicals/liquids/acids in a manufacturing environment)COSHHYellow BeltIOSH Managing SafelyThe successful Production Supervisor will be offered the opportunity to be among the first to join the rise of a global technology pioneer, specialising in renewable energy, incorporating significant breakthroughs in green energy and Net Zero.
