Step into a rewarding role supporting student success as a full-time contract paraprofessional in a vibrant school environment near Maumee, OH. We are seeking two compassionate and dedicated paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one assistance to students—a 6th grader and a 1st grader—throughout the school year. Your commitment will help foster each child’s academic growth and social development in the classroom.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role
• Ability to offer individualized attention and adapt strategies to meet unique student needs
• Patience, strong communication skills, and a positive, collaborative attitude
• Understanding of classroom routines and willingness to follow teacher direction
• Previous work with elementary or middle school students preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a single assigned student (either 6th or 1st grade) throughout the school day, supporting their learning and participation
• Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance to help the student access curriculum and classroom activities
• Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in the student’s learning plan under teacher guidance
• Assist with transitions, organization, and communication between the student, teacher, and family
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold a safe, inclusive learning environment
