Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit

Schedule
Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in a step-down unit or similar environment
- Proficiency in ECG interpretation

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the step-down unit.
- Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and respond to life-threatening emergencies.
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel according to their scope of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation may be required.
- Background checks and drug screens may be conducted.
- Adhere to dress code and scrubs requirements.
