Rooftop Terrace Bartender

Primary function of the position is Rooftop Terrace Bartender.

The position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the safe and sanitary preparation of beverage orders and ensuring that the bar area and supply of liquors, beers, wines, and other beverages is maintained.
• Prepare drink orders according to customer request and recipe specifications.
• Check identification of customers to verify legal age requirements.
• Calculate and collect bar tabs.
• Track, open and secure bottles of liquor, beer, and wine.
• Set-up of bar unit, tables, chairs, and supplies.
• Clean glassware and utensils.
• Stock ice and glassware.
• Maintain and replenish all bar beverages and supplies.
• Maintain a safe and clean bar environment including monitoring customer alcohol consumption.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of one year of beverage service experience.
• Knowledge of beverage and cocktail recipes and specifications.
• Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling procedures.
• Ability to lift fifty pounds.
• Ability to bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate hand tools and kitchen equipment.
• Dependable work ethic with a positive attitude.
