SAP Security & GRC Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security & GRC Consultant to support the implementation and production support of SAP HANA Security. This role will lead client-facing SAP Security and GRC initiatives, helping to protect sensitive business data, enforce security standards, and ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.

Duration: 11 months

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing SAP Security and GRC initiatives, providing expert guidance throughout implementation and support activities.
• Support the implementation, configuration, and production support of SAP HANA Security solutions.
• Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and vulnerability reviews for SAP HANA applications and environments.
• Design and implement secure SAP HANA architectures, including encryption, access controls, authentication, authorization, and auditing.
• Configure and optimize SAP HANA security features, including user administration, roles, profiles, and auditing capabilities.
• Implement data masking and anonymization strategies to protect sensitive business information.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather security requirements and recommend SAP security best practices.
• Ensure SAP security standards, governance policies, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, security procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Stay current with SAP HANA security features, emerging threats, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Security implementation and administration.
• Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, role design, access controls, auditing, and encryption.
• Experience performing security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance reviews.
• Knowledge of secure SAP architecture design and SAP security best practices.
• Experience implementing data masking and data protection techniques.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong client-facing communication and consulting abilities.
• Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation and security procedures.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and enterprise security standards is preferred.

Experience

• 7+ years of SAP Security experience, including SAP HANA Security implementations.
• Experience supporting SAP Security in enterprise production environments.
• Proven experience leading client engagements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience implementing SAP GRC Access Control and related governance processes is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP security compliance, audits, and risk mitigation initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant SAP Security, SAP GRC, or cybersecurity certifications are preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $85.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
