About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Data Center Operations, a pivotal role that demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in enterprise-scale operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance, discipline, and daily execution of a national portfolio of mission-critical data centers, overseeing a large team and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence. This includes a relentless commitment to uptime, safety, and customer confidence, as well as the leadership of teams operating highly reliable data center infrastructure. The role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires a leader who can own the operational heartbeat of the portfolio, drive consistency across facilities, and build a performance culture rooted in safety and continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in mission-critical operations or similarly complex environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data center or critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-intensive environments, and a demonstrated ability to lead through incidents and periods of organizational growth. Strong command of safety, compliance, and risk management principles is essential, as is the ability to influence and partner across functions.
