Heavy Civil Excavation Foreman – Lead Site Operations for Pro Sitework

Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

Steer high-impact heavy civil projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and government sectors as a primary field leader. You will take total ownership of field operations, turning complex site plans into seamless execution while driving safety and efficiency. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Direct daily field operations and lead crew members to ensure heavy civil projects are completed on schedule.
• Interpret complex blueprints and site plans to guide daily excavation, grading, and utility workflows autonomously.
• Manage high-value heavy equipment and optimize on-site material placement to maintain strict quality standards.
• Lead by example on-site, fostering strong team cohesion, clear communication, and high workplace morale.
• Make proactive, real-time decisions on-site to overcome daily logistical challenges and avoid costly project delays.
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety guidelines and maintain accurate daily field reporting.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven track record leading field crews and running site operations on heavy civil earthwork projects.
• Demonstrated ability to hand-read project plans, run equipment, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with workers, clients, and managers.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of related work experience in heavy civil, excavation, or site development construction.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
