Project Controls Senior Manager - Scheduler

Senior Manager of Project Controls and Scheduling at Amgen leading the planning and scheduling organization across a capital project portfolio. The role involves establishing standardized processes, managing a team of planners, implementing digital solutions, and providing analytics to support executive decision-making across multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and scheduling organization supporting capital project portfolio with standardized practices
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and portfolio-level performance reporting
- Establish staffing strategies and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects
- Champion digital planning solutions including Primavera P6, Planisware, and AI-enabled tools
- Mentor planners and project controls professionals while managing contractor performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years engineering/capital projects experience, or equivalent combination
- Expert proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and scheduling software
- Proven leadership managing integrated master schedules and cross-functional teams
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Experience in capital project delivery, cost control, and project controls
- Expertise in planning standards development and mentoring planning professionals
