Position Overview

We're in search of a talented and compassionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enrich our dedicated team of imaging professionals who are committed to delivering top-notch patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you'll perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, work in collaboration with dedicated clinicians, and help reassure patients through accurate and compassionate imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each aspect with kindness and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any equipment issues
• Ensure thorough documentation of procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a relevant equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
