Assistant Fitness Manager

Position Purpose Build a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensure a healthy client pipeline, and deliver an exceptional fitness experience to all members. Responsibilities Ensure daily sales targets are met, especially when the Fitness Manager is absent. Promote personal training packages and build strong rapport with members. Achieve and exceed performance goals for personal training and small‑group training sessions. Collaborate with the membership sales team to onboard new members and facilitate smooth transitions. Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate fitness needs and goals. Guide new members through their initial club experience, fostering retention and engagement. Coach personal trainers through regular development sessions and ongoing support. Communicate expectations and procedures clearly to all staff. Supervise facility maintenance, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain certifications, and implement safety protocols. Qualifications 2‑3 years of customer service experience. 1 year of sales experience. 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills. Strong detail orientation, systematic problem‑solving, and time‑management skills. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Alignment with EōS Fitness core values. Requirements Availability to work nights and weekends. Successful background check. Valid Personal Training certification. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Physical ability to move in a gym setting, lift >40 lbs, and operate computer systems. Compensation Hourly: $15 – $17 USD.
