Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ER/ED) Location: Greensboro, NC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Shift – 3x12s, 1:00 PM–1:30 AM Potential to offer 3:00 PM–3:30 AM if needed. HPW: 36 Experience & Requirements: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required ; first-time travelers are welcome. General ED experience with combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department experience required. BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required. TNCC certification preferred. EPIC experience required ; Cerner experience preferred. Charge RN experience preferred. Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias . Experience with phlebotomy and starting IVs . Triage experience required. 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Every other weekend required; additional weekends are appreciated if available. Holidays as needed. Floating required to the sister Emergency Department at MedCenter Greensboro. All travelers are subject to floating between all Cone Health campuses as needed.
