Emergency Medicine Physician - Opportunities in North Dakota & Texas

Locations:

• Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND
• Hendrick Medical Center, Abilene, TX
• Longview Regional Medical Center FSED, Longview, TX

Start Date: January 3, 2025 (Multiple opportunities)

Duration: 7 months (various shifts and assignments)

Shift: 8 to 12 hours shifts available (day, evening, night)

Hours/week: 32-36 hours (depending on the position)

Employment Type: Full-time or Locum Tenens (contract)

Licenses/Certifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS required (as applicable)

Experience: 1-2 years preferred, but not mandatory depending on the role

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: Ranges from $300 to $325 per hour (plus paid travel expenses for some roles)

What You'll Do:

• Provide emergency medical care to diverse patient populations
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Respond quickly to trauma, stroke, cardiac events, and other emergencies
• Support trauma and stroke programs, adhering to certification standards
• Participate in shift handoffs, patient transfers, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure a safe environment and provide compassionate patient care

What You Need:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Certifications in ACLS, ATLS, PALS (as applicable)
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in emergency medicine preferred

• Experience in Level III Trauma Centers or similar environments
• Ability to adapt to diverse clinical settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
