Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Lab Technician with 10+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on experience supporting software labs, networking, telecommunications equipment, and complex system testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.

• 2+ years of networking experience with tools such as nslookup, ping, and tracert .

• Experience testing complex systems and working with Agile/SAFe methodologies.

• Proficiency with Windows, Unix/Linux, JIRA, and MS Excel .

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining telecommunications equipment and network environments .

• Knowledge of in-flight connectivity (IFEC) systems , including Devices, WAPs, ACPU, and network equipment.

• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues.

• Strong documentation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with Development, Systems Engineering, and Product teams to identify lab equipment requirements.

• Plan and coordinate lab infrastructure, hardware implementation, and program requirements.

• Troubleshoot hardware failures, software configuration issues, network connectivity, and application problems.

• Track and document issues in JIRA , including root-cause analysis and resolution.

• Manage software lab operations, inventory, equipment tracking, audits, repairs, and asset maintenance.

• Conduct periodic lab equipment health checks and resolve issues.

• Manage RFQs, purchase requisitions, RMAs, purchase orders, parts delivery, and returns .

• Create and maintain SOPs, test-bench documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials .

• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to software testing teams.

• Drive continuous improvement in lab processes, hardware configurations, automation, and infrastructure.

• Identify future technology requirements and support lab upgrade projects.

• Participate in lab management meetings and collaborate with testing teams to resolve product issues.

• Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
