The Opportunity

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a respected and growing commercial contractor in the NW Boston area that is looking to add a Drywall Estimator to their Pre-construction team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, understands the numbers, and wants to be part of a company that continues to expand across multiple markets and service lines.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
• Build detailed proposals and scope coverage for bids and negotiated work.
• Stay current on local labor, material, and equipment pricing.
• Ensure all estimates align with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Support and help develop junior team members within the estimating group.

What They're Looking For

• Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of estimating experience or 5-7 years of relevant construction experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple deadlines.
• Self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right.

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
