Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum 80% passing score, with 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Epic test-out required.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position. To receive the travel rate, the claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Unit Details: Med-surg/telemetry unit with some cardiac patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules.

5 days maximum time off
