The Scope of the Role
This is a leadership seat for a $2B+ NPR health system . We are looking for a veteran who understands the sheer volume and complexity of a massive regional business office. This isn’t a role for a remote consultant; we need a Senior Director who is physically present in Springfield to lead a tiered management team and drive the financial performance of the entire system.
The Technical Focus
You will be the primary architect of our revenue cycle strategy. We need someone who has spent years mastering Epic (HB/PB) or Cerner at scale. You aren't just overseeing the software; you are expected to audit workflows, identify where revenue is leaking, and optimize the system to hit aggressive clean claim and cash flow targets.
The Day to Day
- The Big Picture: You own the billing and collections strategy for a massive regional operation. You’ll be the one responsible for setting policies, ensuring compliance, and hitting the numbers.
- System Optimization: We need an expert in Epic (HB/PB) or Cerner . You should know these systems well enough to identify where the workflows are breaking and how to fix them to stop revenue leakage.
- Leading a Large Team: You’ll have direct oversight of a tiered management structure. We need a mentor who can develop the next generation of leaders while keeping the current team focused on daily performance.
- Change Management: Moving to a managed services model is a heavy lift. You’ll be the bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring everyone is aligned and the transition is seamless.

- Scale: You have 8+ years in Revenue Cycle, with specific experience in systems with at least $2B in Net Patient Revenue .
- Leadership: You have 3-5 years of experience managing other managers. You know how to build a culture of accountability.
- Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Epic or Cerner is mandatory.
- Location: You must be able to work onsite in Springfield, MA.
