Job Description:

This travel contract is for a Registered Nurse joining a pediatric critical care float pool in Charlottesville. The assignment includes floating among pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, pediatric medical-surgical, pediatric PACU, pediatric emergency department boarders, and postpartum or mother-baby units. Nurses should have PICU and NICU experience and be comfortable caring for pediatric patients across multiple settings.

The schedule is built around 12-hour night shifts, with 36- or 48-hour weekly options and every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday coverage. PICU experience, NICU experience, pediatric PACU experience, Epic experience, and current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required or preferred as specified. A little variety comes standard—your unit may change, but the focus remains pediatric care.
