Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nursing position located at a satellite healthcare facility. This role involves providing acute emergency care across multiple satellite locations with scheduled floating to various campuses. The position requires adaptability to different clinical environments and adherence to strict protocols to ensure patient safety and care quality.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience. Certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training is preferred but not required.
• Float: Float rotation is not required.
• Additional Information:
  • This position involves floating between multiple ER satellite locations, such as Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise, based on scheduled assignments.
  • Unit includes high-volume, high-acuity trauma care with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
  • Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with a maximum of two attempts, and a pass/fail SIMs (Simulation) Lab for skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, with exceptions for specific units.
  • Orientation will be campus-specific, with training on lifts, restraints, and wound care, tailored per facility.
  • This role requires adherence to hospital protocols, sterile procedures, and patient safety standards.
  • The position starts on 10/19/2026 and ends on 01/18/2027, with shifts scheduled in advance.
  • No specific EMR is mandated, but charting is performed using Cerner.
