Chief Purpose of this Position The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at VCU is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our team at Community Memorial Hospital, located in the scenic and welcoming community of South Hill, Virginia. Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm schedule 10 days call coverage per month (evenings and weekends) Additional call pay available beyond 10 days 2 days clinic, 3 days procedures weekly Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology from an accredited training program Virginia licensure or ability to obtain Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty at VCU.
