Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Our organization is in search of a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to become a vital member of our Healthcare & Medical Services team at the Health Center in Vermilion, OH. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional, patient-focused care to residents in various settings, including assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care.

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments and create tailored care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments while closely monitoring residents’ health to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing assistants, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents and their families, providing education on diagnoses, medications, and ongoing care requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Records system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
• Support residents through rehabilitation and long-term care, particularly those with complex medical and memory-related needs.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions, performing clinical triage and prioritization as necessary.
• Mentor and assist nursing assistants and other team members, fostering a positive learning environment.

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

This is a full-time, on-site nursing position that may require rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, to provide consistent, around-the-clock care for our residents.
