Facility: This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare hub for the surrounding community, providing a broad range of surgical and clinical services. The facility features a supportive anesthesia team with MDA coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and offers newly renovated hospital-owned apartments with WiFi and cable included, as well as meal passes for locum providers. Opportunity: Advanced Practice (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Details: Coverage needed: March 29th - April 2nd Daily shifts required with on-call responsibilities included 15-minute call response time required Administer intravenous, general, and regional anesthetics during surgical procedures, obstetric deliveries, and other medical procedures Cases include: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gynecological, C-Sections, and Optometry Approximate patient volume of 1,000 cases per quarter Anesthesia team support with MDA coverage 24/7 Minimum of 3 years of CRNA experience required Must hold an active, unencumbered North Carolina RN license Current CRNA certification required Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program Current BCLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required Must be NC Medicaid credentialed NC license required to bid - no out-of-state licenses accepted Provider must be vaccinated or provide documented religious or medical exemption NPI number required with bid submission Estimated credentialing timeframe: 2 weeks Lodging provided in newly renovated hospital-owned apartments (WiFi and cable included) with meal passes Travel reimbursement (mileage, flight, rental car) capped at $500.00 Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.Vacancy posted 13 hours ago
