What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Pharmacist (Night Shift) , you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe and effective medication therapy:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to all patient populations (neonates to geriatrics)
- Support overnight medication needs and ensure continuity of care
- ⚖️ Dose medications based on age, weight, renal function & disease state
- Review, verify & prepare inpatient and outpatient prescriptions
- Manage medication refills and ensure appropriate drug utilization
- ️ Promote medication safety using the latest clinical practices
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Apply your expertise in pharmacology, clinical judgement & ethics daily
What You Bring
- ✅ Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy (BS Pharmacy or PharmD)
- ✅ Completion of pharmacy internship program
- ✅ Active NY State Pharmacist License (or eligible via reciprocity)
- ✅ Strong clinical knowledge & attention to detail
- ✅ Ability to work independently and confidently during night hours
- ✅ Passion for patient-centered care
