Location:  Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
Job Type: L ocal contract 
Contract Length: 3 Months Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Pay Range: 21 /Hour - 22.23/Hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Phlebotomist II to join a leading healthcare laboratory team in Saratoga Springs, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong venipuncture skills, excellent patient-interaction skills, and experience working in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital environment.

Duties:

• Perform blood collection procedures including venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all ages.
• Verify patient information, label specimens accurately, and maintain specimen integrity.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality control guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient comfort and professionalism.
• Process specimens and complete data entry using laboratory systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory management as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Phlebotomy Certification (where required by state regulations).
• Minimum 6 months of experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory, diagnostic center, or hospital setting.
• Overall 2-4 years of relevant healthcare or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
