Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic  Director of Nursing (DON)  to lead our healthcare team with passion, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and programs
• Lead and manage a team of dedicated nurses and caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care
• Collaborate with the medical director and other department heads to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organization policies
• Develop and manage budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet the needs of our residents and staff
• Foster open communication and build strong relationships with our interdisciplinary team, residents, and families

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role
• Active registered nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
