Respiratory Polysomnographer

We seek a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner licensed professional to perform polysomnography and neurodiagnostic sleep studies. The role involves conducting diagnostic tests, monitoring patient sleep patterns, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide accurate assessments for sleep-related disorders. This position requires expertise in respiratory care combined with neurodiagnostic techniques to ensure effective patient evaluation and treatment planning. Responsibilities:

• Conduct polysomnographic and neurodiagnostic sleep studies following established protocols.
• Monitor and record patient physiological data during sleep to identify abnormalities.
• Prepare and maintain equipment used for sleep studies and neurodiagnostics.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to interpret data and contribute to patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic procedures.
• Document and report findings accurately in patient records.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.

• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Proficiency in polysomnography and neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment.
• Experience in respiratory or sleep medicine settings preferred.

• Additional certifications in sleep technology or neurodiagnostics.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of current sleep disorder treatment modalities.

• May require working overnight or irregular shifts due to sleep study schedules.
• Must adhere to strict patient confidentiality and safety protocols.
• Compliance with infection control and equipment sterilization standards.

• Shift work including overnight and weekend hours as dictated by patient testing schedules.
• Flexible scheduling based on clinical demand and study requirements.
