Duties Operation of light and heavy motorized golf course equipment. Triplex tee and approach mowers. Edges cart paths and bunkers. Mows fairways, green, tees and approaches Operates weed eater. Trims trees and bunkers. Changes cups. String trimmers, blowers and miscellaneous hand tools. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. All duties assigned by the Superintendent Qualifications Requires knowledge of the safe operation of trucks, tractors and other motorized equipment. Knowledge of maintenance tools and ability to follow oral and written directions. Adheres to standard safety practices' including but not limited to wearing gloves, boots, etc. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
