Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Candidates must be prepared to work in a hospital setting performing total joint, orthospine, and da Vinci robotic procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from a CAAHEP-accredited or programmatically-accredited surgical technology program and successful completion of the NBSTSA CST examination.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience. Travel submissions require at least 2 years of experience plus prior travel experience; local-only candidates will not be accepted.
• Demonstrated expertise in total joint and orthospine cases.
• Demonstrated experience with da Vinci robotic procedures.
• Willingness to accept on-call requirements (minimum of four call shifts per month).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior travel surgical technologist experience preferred.
• Experience working in high-acuity hospital OR environments.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0630-1700.
• Work pattern: 10-hour shifts, four shifts per week.
• Call required: minimum of four call shifts per month.
• Candidates may be required to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
