Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting throughout the perioperative process
• Assist surgical team during operative procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Perform circulating and/or scrub duties as required by the surgical team
• Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled, including intermittent weekend coverage
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and surgical procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in an operating room or perioperative nursing setting
• Ability to fulfill intermittent on-call and weekend scheduling requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification or working toward certification
• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
• Familiarity with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
