Blacklock Group is partnered with a leading infrastructure investment platform with a strong track record across energy infrastructure. As the business continues to expand its investment activities, they are seeking to appoint a VP/Director within the Capital Markets team.

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced capital markets professional to play a leading role in structuring, arranging, and executing financing solutions across a diversified infrastructure portfolio, spanning: power, renewables, electrification, transportation, and critical infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading acquisition financings, refinancings, recapitalisations, and liability management transactions.
  • Structuring and executing bank, institutional, and private credit financings.
  • Developing financing solutions that support investment underwriting and value creation strategies.
  • Managing relationships with commercial banks, infrastructure lenders, institutional investors, private credit funds, and financial advisors.
  • Supporting investment teams during acquisition processes through financing analysis and market intelligence.
  • Overseeing debt diligence, financial modelling, covenant analysis, and transaction execution.
  • Preparing investment committee materials and financing recommendations.
  • Monitoring capital markets conditions and identifying opportunities to optimise portfolio financing structures.

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of relevant experience within infrastructure finance, energy investment banking, project finance, debt advisory, private credit, or infrastructure investing.
  • Demonstrated experience executing complex financings within energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project finance, acquisition finance, and structured debt products.
  • Existing relationships across lenders, debt funds, and institutional capital providers.
  • Excellent analytical, modelling, and negotiation capabilities.
  • The ability to operate effectively within a dynamic, entrepreneurial investment environment.
