Contract RN in Labor & Delivery

Contract RN in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Greeley, Colorado. Provide high-quality obstetric care while receiving competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver labor and delivery care to expectant mothers through assessment, monitoring, and support during active labor and delivery.
• Administer medications, including titratable drips such as Pitocin, following hospital protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to triage patients and perform fetal monitoring using AWHONN guidelines.
• Ensure accurate documentation and charting in EPIC systems, adhering to hospital standards for all patient interactions and procedures.
• Assist with postpartum recovery and neonatal care, supporting mothers and newborns throughout the birthing process and immediate postpartum period.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Colorado or state of residence with license transferability.
• ACLS certification (AHA).
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience and training in LDRP.
• Ability to titrate drips such as Pitocin.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adaptability to shift work.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel experience preferred.
