Position Overview

You'll work alongside accomplished attorneys across multiple disciplines while representing developers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and commercial clients in complex construction disputes. Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction litigation matters involving contract disputes, construction defects, delay claims, payment disputes, mechanics liens, and related construction controversies.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Advise developers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals on litigation strategy and risk management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the Construction Litigation practice.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions for construction industry clients.

Qualifications / Nice to Have

Must Have

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
• Significant construction litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience handling construction-related disputes, commercial litigation matters, or mechanics lien claims.
• Experience independently managing client relationships and sophisticated litigation matters.
• Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.

Nice to Have

• Experience representing developers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, or design professionals.
• Experience handling construction defect, delay, payment, or contract disputes.
• Experience managing arbitrations, mediations, and trial matters.
• Experience mentoring junior attorneys or leading complex matters.

Benefits

• Expected compensation generally ranging from $275,000 to $400,000+ , depending on productivity, collections, and business origination.
• 15% origination compensation on collected revenue from originated business.
• Profit-sharing contributions, historically ranging from $10,000 to $28,000 annually .
