General Laborer

Location: Seven miles north of Wausau, Wi and eight miles south of Merrill, WI on County Road K. Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Laborer to join our team at [Company Name]. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support our operations and ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team leads to accomplish tasks. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues for maintenance. Assist in inventory management and organization of materials. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in general labor, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus. Ability to handle physical labor and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). Basic knowledge of safety practices in a production environment. Strong work ethic and reliability; punctual and dependable. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Willingness to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities as needed. Working Conditions Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment. May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Compliance with safety rules, PPE requirements, and Company procedures is required. Regular exposure to welding fumes, sparks, heat, noise, vibration, airborne particles, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
