Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves managing critical care patients in a fast-paced trauma environment. Candidates are required to bring their current Registered Nurse license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, ER experience of at least 3 years, graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired, Cerner EMR experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a trauma level environment and teaching hospital experience.
- Additional Details: The ED handles a wide variety of patient types, including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical trauma cases. The role involves managing complex nursing care to ensure safety and quality while delivering positive patient experiences. Candidates must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as a bedside trauma RN and to work in a team environment.
