Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst for our First Quality Tissue located in Anderson, SC. The role requires a deep understanding and experience of strategic sourcing, order management processes, and methodology, and the ability to enact the sourcing processes with cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Drives Value Creation and Strategic Procurement, aligning with business goals and objectives. Develop processes that contribute to a more efficient Supply Chain by performing analysis to determine highest priority items/vendors to target for review of pricing and sourcing, as well as with other departments and sites to gain standardization and purchasing leverage. Implement high‑level cost savings for First Quality both on spot buys and strategic plant initiatives. Perform contract management and review contracts to ensure payment terms, length of agreement, and procurement content are in the best interest of First Quality. Review quotes, requisitions, and purchase orders for accuracy and conformance with established policies, procedures, and expectations, collaborating with requesters as deviations arise. Manage requisition and purchase orders, confirming negotiated pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers. Seek and partner with reliable suppliers, solving questions and confirming expected deliverables, while resolving any delivery, payment, price discrepancies and quality related concerns. Assess risks to supply and work to mitigate by exploring/approving alternative suppliers. Work cross‑functionally on continuous improvement activities and project support for supplier negotiations. Investigate and evaluate new sources of supply for MRO parts/services. Maintain systems with accurate part numbers, pricing, and suppliers to ensure efficient processes. Establish and maintain effective communications and partnerships with suppliers. Serve as a super‑user for all new technology impacting the procurement function, providing team training and expertise across site locations. Travel to other First Quality locations as required. Conduct supplier audits. Train new hires. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications BS in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field preferred. 4 to 6 years Procurement/Purchasing experience preferred. Effective communicator, both written and oral, with a strong reasoning mindset. Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Able to multi‑task and meet timelines with a strong focus on detailed organization and execution. Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization, presenting recommendations and influencing when required. Training skills for new hires regarding systems and procurement processes. Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, with SAP and Infor proficiency a plus.
