• Case Mix: Trauma, orthopedics, vascular, cardiac catheterization lab, electrophysiology, endoscopy, spine, general surgery, gynecology, neurology including craniotomy, and optional obstetrics

CRNA Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification and authorization to practice in Texas
• Board eligible or board certified status
• Experience in a broad hospital-based anesthesia practice is preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Clinical competency appropriate to the assigned anesthesia cases and patient acuity
• Ability to participate in scheduled shifts, in-house coverage, and home call as required
• Successful completion of the required credentialing process

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for a diverse adult surgical and procedural population
• Evaluate patients, develop individualized anesthesia plans, and manage perioperative care
• Deliver general anesthesia services for trauma, orthopedic, vascular, neurological, spine, general, gynecological, and procedural cases
• Support neurosurgical cases, including craniotomies, when assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, surgical teams, and other members of the anesthesia care team
• Provide in-house and call coverage, including nights and weekends, according to the established schedule
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care
• Prioritize patient safety, clinical quality, and professional communication in every encounter
