Building Brilliance Day Care is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team in Lynbrook. We are a family daycare serving busy Long Island families, operating for nearly 10 years with an impeccable safety and inspections record. You’ll help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where toddlers can learn, grow, and thrive through play-based activities, enrichment, and personalized attention.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a clean, safe, welcoming setting.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate learning and play activities.
- Support early learning in language, math, creative arts, movement, and social skills.
- Assist with meals, snacks, outdoor play, and daily routines.
- Maintain a warm, professional relationship with children and families.
- Help keep the classroom organized, clean, and running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting.
- Patient, loving, and reliable personality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to help create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
- Early childhood education background is a plus.
- Familiarity with CACFP (Food Program) is a plus.
