Sunday, 8:00 PM – 4:20 AM and Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM – 4:20 AM. Work week starts Sunday 8PM night and end Friday at 4 AM

Summary
Incumbents in this classification are responsible for performing miscellaneous labor the Department of Public Works. Work is performed under close supervision (although most tasks are so routine that little supervision is required).

Job Description

• I need three employees to work as attendants for the City of Chattanooga Recycle and Refuse Center. Please emphasize to the candidates that strong, professional customer service skills are required for this role."
• Serve as the first point of contact for residents and customers contacting the City.
• Answer incoming calls and assist walk-in customers.
• Receive, document, and process requests for City services and information.
• Research customer questions and provide accurate information.
• Route service requests to the appropriate City department.
• Handle questions involving City services, including areas such as court information/payments, sewer billing and non-billing issues, code enforcement, and stormwater.
• Receive and document technology help-desk requests.
