Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Worker to join our team in Winchester, VA, 22603. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing and labeling products according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
