Now Hiring: Accountant | Mineola, NY
I’m currently recruiting for an Accountant opportunity with a growing accounting firm in Mineola, NY. This is a 5-day onsite position and is a great opportunity for an accountant looking to build broader experience across tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and client services. What you’ll be doing:• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Handle bookkeeping, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and write-ups
• Prepare financial statements and various tax filings
• Work directly with clients to resolve accounting and tax-related questions
• Manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
• Collaborate with the accounting team on client issues and deliverables
• Work Saturdays during tax season when needed What we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of accounting/tax experience preferred
• Experience with individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• CCH ProSystem fx Tax experience preferred
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills Location: Mineola, NY
Schedule: 5 days onsite
Flexible schedule during non-tax season
