Supervisor Maintenance - 3rd Shift - Broken Bow, OK

Summary This position is responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance coordination including leading and directing maintenance technicians, fostering a well‑trained and motivated staff, and assisting the Maintenance Manager in directing and coordinating maintenance policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment. The role involves managing and overseeing preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment, quickly assessing problems to minimize downtime of production, and ensuring that all maintenance employees understand and follow SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices. Responsibilities and Key Qualifications Lead, direct, evaluate, and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians. Measure, monitor, and reduce machine downtime. Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electronic (PLC) problems and direct or assist with repairs. Promote a "Safety First" culture among staff. Develop and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program for equipment and the plant. Education Associate's degree or college program certificate. 5+ years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a food manufacturing environment. Experience 5 years of maintenance experience required, with supervisory or lead experience preferred. Experience in directing, evaluating, and training maintenance technicians. Communication Skills Must be able to speak clearly, listen and understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Ability to express ideas and concepts clearly in writing and understand the same. Computer Skills Basic PLC experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) at the intermediate level. Experience with SAP is a plus.
