This role is situated in Richmond Hill, Fort Stewart, GA.

The facility, a 112-bed community hospital, will soon introduce a new Women's Health and Mammography Center. Our healthcare team delivers both primary and specialized care to a patient base exceeding 70,000. As a civilian family practice physician, you will be essential in delivering outstanding healthcare to Soldiers and their Families within our esteemed Army and the 3rd Infantry Division.

Key supporting specialties at our facility include OB/Gyn, general and orthopedic surgery, EENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Urology. You will benefit from a fully integrated inpatient and outpatient Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system with digital radiography capabilities.

The Hinesville/Savannah area is less than 30 minutes from the beach, offering a low cost of living and a lively nightlife in Savannah, complete with fantastic dining options. Many of our physicians choose to reside in the upscale suburbs of Savannah, such as Richmond Hill, Pooler, and Hinesville, which often feature direct deep-water access. As a Supervisory Physician in Family Practice, your duties will include:

• Delivering comprehensive primary care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults, adhering to current care standards, the patient-centered medical home model, Army policies, and relevant regulations.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for the continuous care of patients.
• Coordinating care across various healthcare system components (e.g., subspecialty services, hospitals, home health agencies, nursing facilities) and within the patient's community (e.g., family, public and private community services).
• Providing teaching and consultation to other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Assessing the developmental and training needs of staff; facilitating or arranging necessary training and development opportunities.
• Completing all required documentation related to medical services provided, in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
• Supervising other healthcare providers as assigned.
• Delegating tasks to subordinates based on priorities, assignment complexity, and employee capabilities.
• Offering technical oversight to other healthcare providers as assigned.
• Creating performance plans and evaluating employee performance.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Board Eligible or Certified.
• Possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a US territory.
