UltraTax CS Tax Professional for AI Training

Apply hands-on UltraTax CS and U.S. tax preparation experience to realistic tax workflows that help produce high-quality data for the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on completing, reviewing, explaining, and documenting tax preparation tasks within UltraTax CS. Key Responsibilities

• Complete realistic tax preparation and tax compliance workflows using UltraTax CS.
• Prepare and review U.S. Federal and State tax returns based on provided scenarios.
• Enter and review taxpayer information, income, deductions, credits, and other relevant tax data.
• Review tax calculations and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
• Work with common individual, business, corporate, and partnership tax scenarios.
• Explain the steps used to complete different workflows in UltraTax CS.
• Review completed tax work for accuracy and compliance.
• Create realistic examples based on professional tax preparation workflows.
• Document processes and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines.
• Use professional tax preparation expertise to complete realistic tasks and contribute accurate, high-quality data supporting AI system development.

• Strong hands-on professional experience with UltraTax CS.
• Professional experience in tax preparation, tax accounting, or tax compliance.
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing U.S. Federal and State tax returns.
• Familiarity with individual and/or business tax returns, including corporations and partnerships.
• Strong understanding of common U.S. tax forms, terminology, and filing processes.
• Ability to independently navigate UltraTax CS and complete common tax workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify tax or data-entry errors.
• Ability to clearly explain tax preparation steps and decisions.

• Remote contract engagement.
• Work is performed on a customer project involving realistic UltraTax CS tax workflows and documentation.

Compensation ranges from $90 to $170 per hour.
