About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional, registered nurse who supports the execution of the nursing strategic plan and priorities. This role is ideal for skilled communicators and leaders who are dedicated to improving patient care and fostering a collaborative environment. Highlights Location: Red Bank, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Participate with recruitment and retention strategies. Assist with unit huddles and leader rounding with employees. Participate in unit goal creation reflective of hospital goals. Lead or participate in evidence-based practice projects or research. Resolve conflicts and facilitate constructive resolutions. Complete employee corrective action plans/counseling as necessary. Prepare and conduct periodic performance evaluations for staff. Monitor unit orientation process for all roles as necessary. Optimize the patient and family experience of care. Lead or conduct root cause analysis investigations. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required. BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent. Licenses & Certifications NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program (within two years of hire).
