Oncology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Cancer Care, located in Greenville, North Carolina are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established surgical oncology division. The successful candidate will provide clinical care in a multidisciplinary clinic for breast oncology patients. New graduates are welcome to apply. ECU Health Cancer Care is the largest provider of oncology services in Eastern North Carolina. Highlights include:

• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed tertiary referral center
• Primarily outpatient clinical responsibilities with occasional inpatient care as needed
• Established oncology division inclusive of 2 breast surgeons, 4 surgical oncologists, and 2 colorectal surgeons
• State of the art cancer center which includes an infusion center with 60 infusion spaces, symptom management clinic, laboratory and fast track labs, radiology services, and multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Clinical responsibilities will include seeing pre- and post-operative patients in an outpatient breast care clinic:
• Perform comprehensive clinical breast examinations and support early detection efforts
• Perform comprehensive breast cancer risk assessment
• Assist in evaluation and management of both benign and malignant breast conditions
• Utilize basic breast ultrasound for diagnostic evaluation and procedural guidance
• Conduct breast aspirations, including cyst aspiration and fluid sampling
• Perform incision and drainage of uncomplicated breast collections
• Carry out punch biopsies to support timely diagnosis
• Provide essential wound care, including wound packing, basic wound vac management, and uncomplicated wound debridement
• Attend weekly multidisciplinary breast cancer conferences
• Monday-Friday 8am– 5:00pm schedule
• No Call
