We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator OR to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our perioperative department. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care for surgical patients in the Operating Room, ensuring a consistently patient-centered experience.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator OR functions as a clinical leader, resource, and mentor for the OR nursing staff. You will support day-to-day clinical operations by coordinating assignments, balancing patient acuity with staff competencies, and collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader interdisciplinary team. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient surgical schedules and patient flow, facilitating preoperative planning, and supporting postoperative transitions of care.

This position involves direct patient care as well as clinical coordination responsibilities. You will utilize advanced perioperative nursing skills, including patient assessment, intraoperative monitoring, sterile technique, and infection prevention practices, while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and evidence-based standards. You will help orient and support new nurses and staff, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
