About the Role:
San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a talented and passionate PM Garde Manger Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is your chance to showcase your craft in a prestigious, member-focused environment where quality and creativity are celebrated every shift.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute cold-side dishes including salads, charcuterie, terrines, and composed appetizers for evening service
Maintain garde manger station setup, organization, and cleanliness throughout PM service
Follow standardized recipes and plating presentations to ensure consistency and quality
Collaborate with the culinary team to support smooth, efficient dinner service
Monitor and rotate food inventory, ensuring proper storage and freshness of cold-side ingredients
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards
Assist with prep work and support other stations as needed during service
Requirements:
Previous line cook experience, with garde manger or cold-side station experience preferred
Solid knife skills and knowledge of cold food preparation techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and proper sanitation practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work PM shifts including weekends and holidays
Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience a plus
