Schutz Container System a Global Packaging Container Company located in Somerville - North Branch NJ is searching for Junior Cost Analysts to join our team!Onsite Role - ManufacturingJunior Cost AccountantThe primary duty of a Junior Cost Accountant is to gather financial data (e.g. inventory purchases, labor costs) and analyze it to uncover inefficiencies. They may estimate production costs and track the changes in regular costs (e.g. due to new products and new processes) as well as involvement in the daily operation of plant locations.Duties and Responsibilities:Gather and analyze financial dataInvestigate variances with actual costsPrepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hocHelp management make important decisions based on costs and benefitsConduct audits on financial processes and transactionsMonitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costsEstimate product costs for existing and new productsForecast and analyze costs of processes, labor and inventorySuggest cost-reducing or profitable solutionsConduct market research to support future business planningOther duties / ad hoc requests as assignedRequired Experience/Skills:Experience in data, operational and financial analysisProactive, analytical, and work with a sense of urgency with minimal supervisionStrong analytical skillsHighly detailed oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task several projects on short deadlinesAbility to travel as needed– 10-20%Knowledge of SAP, preferredStrong PC skills with knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint and expertise in ExcelBackground in manufacturing, preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
