Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a high-performing production team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience who can motivate employees, improve processes, and ensure production schedules are met in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and production standards are consistently achieved.

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to maximize performance and productivity.

• Schedule, assign, and prioritize production activities to meet customer and business requirements.

• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

• Ensure production resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, are available to meet production schedules.

• Prepare and maintain daily production reports and operational records.

• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.

• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, GMPs, and plant procedures.

• Conduct employee performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support employee development.

• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, confined space procedures, and all workplace safety standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or food processing.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and waste reduction.

• Working knowledge of plant equipment, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and workplace safety standards.

• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 8-12-hour shifts.

• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and lift as required.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to safely perform physical job duties while following all safety procedures.
