About the Role

The Company is in search of a Private Equity Experienced VP to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the firm's investment strategy and execution, with a focus on lower-middle market investments within the industrials sector. This role is pivotal, offering the opportunity to lead due diligence, financial analysis, and market research for potential investments, as well as to develop investment theses and assess the operational potential of target companies. The VP will also be involved in driving value creation with portfolio companies, collaborating with the senior leadership team to refine the investment strategy, and supporting fundraising efforts. Applicants for the Private Equity Experienced VP position at the company should have 1-3 years of investment banking experience in M&A, or related transaction advisory consulting, and 4-6 years of private equity experience with a reputable lower middle market firm. A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is required, with an MBA being preferred. The role demands superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Prior experience or a keen interest in sectors such as industrials, manufacturing, and distribution is also a key qualification. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals, advisors, and other stakeholders.
